POSTER & TECH STICKER COLLECTIONS

Poster collections and tech sticker collections are how the Pokémon Company gets packs from its special sets into your hands — those sets never get a 36-pack booster box. Twelve are sealed and live at Grailborne right now, from A$86 to A$1,990. Here is exactly what is in every box, the live AUD price, and the cost per pack.

Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection
Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection — 10 packs, a full-art foil promo and a large double-sided poster.

Every product on this page does the same job in a different wrapper: it carries booster packs from an expansion you cannot buy a booster box for. Prismatic Evolutions, Paldean Fates, Black Bolt & White Flare, Ascended Heroes and the incoming 30th Celebration are all special sets, and The Pokémon Company deliberately skips the traditional 36-pack display on all of them. Poster collections and tech sticker collections are part of the answer — and they throw in sealed-exclusive foil promos and an oversized poster on the way through.

That makes them unusually good value per pack. The Unova Poster Collection lands four packs at A$24.75 each, the sharpest Black Bolt and White Flare pack access on the store. The Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection carries ten packs at A$31.90 each — under the per-pack cost of that set’s own Elite Trainer Box, plus a full-size double-sided poster on top. Below is every box, priced live, with the exact contents confirmed against Pokémon.com.

Availability
The nine Prismatic Evolutions, Ascended Heroes, Paldean Fates and Unova boxes on this page are sealed and shipping now from Brisbane in 1–2 business days. Everything carrying 30th Celebration branding — the Poster Box (A$99), the Sticker Blister (A$109) and the six-box Poster Collection Case (A$630) — is tied to the worldwide 16 September 2026 release date, so ordering now secures a first-print anniversary box at today’s price.

What is inside every box

Confirmed against pokemon.com

Two formats, two jobs. Every figure below is straight from The Pokémon Company’s own product pages.

Poster collections lead with an oversized double-sided poster and stack multiple foil promos alongside the packs. Prismatic Evolutions and Unova both carry three promo cards each; the 30th Celebration box carries the full Legendary Bird trio.
Tech sticker collections pair one foil promo with a device sticker sheet and three packs, which is why they sit at the sharp end of the price list — they are the low-entry way into a set that has no booster box.
Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection — 10 Ascended Heroes packs, 1 full-art foil promo (Mega Lucario ex or Mega Gardevoir ex), 1 large double-sided poster, 1 Pokémon TCG Live code card. Released 20 March 2026.
Prismatic Evolutions Poster Collection — 3 Prismatic packs, 3 foil promos (Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon), 1 poster featuring 27 card illustrations of Eevee and its evolutions, 1 code card.
Unova Poster Collection — 2 Black Bolt packs and 2 White Flare packs, 3 foil promos (Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott), 1 double-sided 26.875 by 39 inch poster, 1 code card. The only sealed box that mixes both halves of the split expansion.
30th Celebration Poster Collection — 3 anniversary packs, 3 foil promos (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres), 1 full-size two-sided poster showing more than 160 cards from the expansion.
Tech sticker collections — 3 packs, 1 foil promo and 1 sticker sheet in every case. Prismatic runs Leafeon, Glaceon or Sylveon; Paldean Fates runs Shiny Fidough, Greavard or Maschiff; Ascended Heroes runs Charmander or Gastly; 30th Celebration runs Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario.
Pack contents differ by era. Scarlet & Violet special-set packs hold 10 cards plus a Basic Energy. Each 30th Celebration pack holds 5 foil cards, 1 foil Basic Energy and a code card, and one of those five is always one of the 30 Pikachu variants.

Live Grailborne prices, 31 August 2026. Cost per pack is the box price divided by the packs inside and ignores the promos, poster or sticker sheet, all of which come free of the pack maths. For context on the same shelf: a Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box works out at A$38.78 per pack and an Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box at A$33.11 per pack.

What the market is telling us

Pull difficulty x popularity

Sealed value in this category runs on the same formula as anywhere else: pull difficulty multiplied by character popularity. What makes poster and sticker boxes interesting is that they sit on the supply side of that equation. When a set never gets a 36-pack display, every pack that reaches a collector arrives inside a product like these, so the boxes themselves inherit the set’s scarcity story rather than diluting it.

Prismatic Evolutions is the clearest proof. It is the Eeveelution set, it never had a booster box, and its headline Umbreon ex #161 still trades around A$1,975 ungraded more than a year and a half after its 17 January 2025 release. Ascended Heroes follows the same shape from 30 January 2026: 295 cards, no display box, and a chase trio — Mega Gengar ex, Pikachu ex and Mega Dragonite ex — all sitting between A$900 and A$1,400. Paldean Fates goes one better on time: released 26 January 2024, and its Mew ex #232 still holds around A$1,219 two and a half years later.

Character appeal is doing real work here too. Every promo in this category is chosen for nostalgia rather than competitive play: the Kanto starters’ Unova equivalents in Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott, the three original Legendary Birds on the anniversary poster box, and the Eeveelution set on the Prismatic promos and stickers. Those are the names that keep demand alive years after a set stops printing — and unlike pack pulls, they arrive guaranteed in every box.

The 30th Celebration blisters add a genuinely new hook. Every anniversary pack contains one of 30 different Pikachu variants alongside Classic Collection reprints, which means three packs is three guaranteed Pikachu cards rather than three lottery tickets. Pre-ordering ahead of 16 September 2026 locks that in at today’s A$99.

The Grailborne Take

Editorial rating · not financial advice
85/100
Grailborne Index
The most efficient sealed shelf in the store for special-set packs, with a free poster on every box.
Investment-hold rating — weighs set scarcity, character demand, comparables & retail-vs-secondary spread.
Pack maths that stands up. The Unova Poster Collection delivers packs at A$24.75 each and the Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection at A$31.90 — both under the per-pack cost of their own Elite Trainer Boxes, with the promos, posters and sticker sheets arriving on top at no extra cost.
Scarcity is structural, not marketing. Every set represented here is a special set with no 36-pack display, confirmed by The Pokémon Company. That keeps supply tight in a way a main-series set never manages.
Guaranteed hits alongside the gamble. Three foil promos in a Prismatic or Unova poster box, a full-art Mega Lucario ex or Mega Gardevoir ex in the Ascended Heroes premium box, and one of 30 Pikachu variants in every 30th Celebration pack — you open something worth keeping before the packs even start.
How to hold it well. These boxes are shelf-stable and shelf-friendly: flat, light and easy to store in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sun. Keep the poster rolled in its sleeve rather than folded, buy the pre-order 30th Celebration blisters now at today’s price, and combine a couple of boxes to clear the A$350 free-shipping line in one order.

Practical read: the sealed singles here are the easiest entry in the category and every one of them is dispatched from Brisbane in 1–2 business days. If you want depth in one purchase, the case tier gives you 18 to 60 packs sealed at factory level. Australian allocation on special sets is consistently the tightest part of the calendar — Prismatic Evolutions is still chased 19 months after launch and Paldean Fates two and a half years on — so the boxes on the shelf today are the supply, and the 16 September 2026 anniversary window is the next one worth being early for.

Grailborne’s mission: as always, Grailborne strives to get modern Pokémon sets into the hands of collectors, investors and rippers — securing inventory in high volumes from the secondary market so there’s always something available for everyone.

Grailborne Index is our own editorial rating, not financial advice. Figures cite indicative sealed-market prices; collectibles can fall as well as rise. Do your own research and buy what you enjoy.

Frequently asked questions

Release · chase · hold thesis
Why buy a poster or sticker collection instead of just buying a booster box?+
For these sets there is no booster box to buy. Prismatic Evolutions, Paldean Fates, Black Bolt & White Flare, Ascended Heroes and 30th Celebration are all special sets, and The Pokémon Company deliberately does not print a traditional 36-pack display for them — its January 2025 Prismatic Evolutions release stated outright that the packs would not be sold in traditional booster boxes. Poster collections, tech sticker collections, booster bundles and Elite Trainer Boxes are the channels that exist instead, which is why the pack maths on these boxes is worth checking closely.
When do the 30th Celebration blisters actually arrive in Australia, and what am I locking in?+
The 30th Celebration expansion releases worldwide on 16 September 2026, and both the Poster Box (A$99) and the Sticker Blister (A$109) are pre-orders against that date. A pre-order holds a first-print box at today’s price, and Grailborne dispatches from Brisbane in 1–2 business days once stock lands. If you want the anniversary poster at depth, the six-box 30th Celebration Poster Collection Sealed Case (A$630) covers the same release with 18 packs, 18 promos and six posters in one order.
Which box gives me the best shot at a headline chase card?+
Pack count is the honest answer, and the Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection wins it with ten packs for A$319. That is your widest single-box swing at Mega Gengar ex #284 (around A$1,365 ungraded), Pikachu ex #276 (around A$1,257) and Mega Dragonite ex #290 (around A$921). If you want the longest-running chase in the category instead, the Prismatic Evolutions boxes are the ones pointed at Umbreon ex #161, still trading near A$1,975 ungraded.
Are the promo cards inside worth anything on their own?+
They carry a specific kind of value: they are sealed-exclusive. The Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon foils from the Prismatic poster box, the Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott trio from the Unova box, the full-art Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex promos and the Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres anniversary trio are not pulled from packs at all — the only way to get them is to buy the product they ship in. That gives them a fixed supply tied directly to how many boxes were printed, which is exactly the pattern that has treated older sealed-exclusive promos well.
Open them or hold them sealed?+
Both work here, and you can genuinely do one of each. Opening gets you the guaranteed promos plus a real swing at cards in the A$650 to A$1,975 band, and the poster is yours either way once the box is open. Holding sealed leans on the structural point above: these sets have no booster box, printing stops, and the boxes stop appearing. A sensible split is to open the cheaper three-pack blisters for the promos and keep a premium poster box or a full case sealed.
How should I store the poster and the box so they stay in good shape?+
Keep the poster rolled in the sleeve it ships in rather than folding it — a fold line is the one thing that permanently marks an oversized poster. Store sealed boxes flat, in a cool, dry, dark cupboard, away from direct sunlight and away from anything that swings in humidity such as a garage or an external wall. These boxes are thin and light, so they stack well and take up far less shelf than an Elite Trainer Box for the same number of packs.
