Mega Evolution — Delta Reign is the sixth English set of the Mega Evolution era, and it lands worldwide on 6 November 2026. The headline is Mega Rayquaza ex, back in the Pokémon TCG for the first time since XY—Ancient Origins in 2015 — an eleven-year wait for one of the most-requested Mega Evolutions in the game.
Alongside it come three more new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex (Golurk, Malamar and Golisopod) and a brand-new Legendary Stadium mechanic. The Kyogre promo is the part worth circling. In the Japanese print, Kyogre’s illustration rare trades around A$25 — more than double a typical illustration rare from the same set — because it is part of the same legendary trio as Rayquaza. Making it an ETB exclusive means the only English copies in circulation come out of this box.
Legendary Stadiums
New mechanic · ME06Delta Reign introduces Legendary Stadiums — six Stadium cards that combine into three pairs. Each pair is played together and forms one extended piece of artwork when the halves sit side by side, echoing the LEGEND cards of the HeartGold & SoulSilver era. The smart part of the design: any booster pack containing a Legendary Stadium includes both halves, so you never end up hunting a missing side. Because both halves share a name, a deck can run at most two complete sets — a genuine deckbuilding constraint, and the first new sealed-product hook the Mega Evolution era has shipped.

What the market is telling us
Pull difficulty × popularityThe framework we use on every set is simple: value = pull difficulty × character popularity. Delta Reign scores unusually well on both axes at once, which is rarer than it sounds.
On pull difficulty, the set carries 6 special illustration rares, 17 ultra rares and 14 illustration rares across 135-plus cards, with a single gold hyper-rare Rayquaza sitting at the very top of the rarity ladder. On popularity, Rayquaza is one of the two or three most-asked-for Mega Evolutions in the game and has not had a Pokémon TCG card since 2015. The Japanese print settles the argument: the gold Rayquaza is trading around A$1,565 and its special art rare around A$840, while the next-strongest card in the set sits near A$104. That is a set with a single, unmistakable engine — exactly the profile that keeps sealed product moving long after release.
The English track record backs it up. Every Mega Evolution-era set so far has produced a top card in a consistent band: Mega Gengar ex from Ascended Heroes at about A$1,362, Mega Charizard X ex from Phantasmal Flames at about A$1,048, Mega Dragonite ex at about A$896 and Mega Greninja ex from Chaos Rising at about A$291 (PriceCharting ungraded, 24 August 2026). Four sets, four four-figure-or-close headline cards. Delta Reign arrives with the strongest character of the lot.
