FUSION WORLD VS MASTERS: WHICH LINE TO BUY

They have separate Bandai sites and release lists, and their box sizes differ. This guide compares them using Bandai's published facts and clearly labelled distributor reports.

This is a product comparison, not buying advice. It covers set codes, pack and box sizes, card counts and the Grailborne boxes listed for each line. It does not compare rules or tournament formats. Figures marked Bandai come from Bandai's pages. Figures marked distributors come from distributor sheets that Bandai has not confirmed. Both lines have English releases on the release calendar.

The short answer

Pick the line, then the box

Choose the line first, then the box. Fusion World and Masters each have their own set codes, card search and release list on Bandai's sites, so the right box depends on which line you play or collect. The differences below are about size and format.

›
Fusion World has FB main boosters, ST Story Boosters and FS starter decks. Bandai lists 123 card types and 12-card packs for each of FB09, FB10, FB11 and FB12.
›
Masters has B boosters. Bandai lists B32 at 185 card types in 20-pack boxes, with a bonus Energy Marker in every box purchased.
›
Either line needs the same two checks: the line's card list on Bandai's site where one is published, and the pack count on the product page, because box sizes differ between sets.

How the set codes work

FB, ST, FS and B
Code What it is Line Example
FB Main booster pack Fusion World FB11 Brightness of Hope, FB12 Reach the God
ST Story Booster Fusion World ST01 (English release 21 Aug 2026), ST02, ST03
FS Starter deck Fusion World FS13 and FS14 (22 Jan 2027 on Bandai's English list)
B Main booster. B28 to B32 are the Ultra-Bout series Masters B32 Chromatic Ascension (Series 05). B28 is Series 01
SB Manga Booster Not covered here Manga Booster 02 is SB02

Bandai has not published series numbering for B33. This guide calls it Ultra-Bout set 6. Story Boosters are Fusion World sets, not One Piece starter decks and not Masters boosters.

B32 vs B31: box size and extras

Bandai's B30, B31 and B32 pages
›
Box size. Bandai's B30 and B31 pages list 24 packs per box. Its B32 page lists 20 packs of 12 cards, which is 240 cards per box.
›
Some listings still say 24. A few retailers show B32 as 24 packs, the B30 and B31 figure. Bandai's page says 20, the box artwork appears to carry the same wording and a US distributor lists a 20-count, so 20 is the figure to use.
›
Extras. Bandai says each B32 box purchased includes a bonus Energy Marker. The design and number of varieties are not published.

More detail. The B32 guide has the B32 rarity list and card count.

Story Boosters belong to Fusion World

ST01, ST02, ST03

ST01 was released in English on 21 August 2026 with 12-card packs. Distributors list ST02 and ST03 as displays of 20 packs. Bandai names ST02 on its roadmap for 2027, and ST03 is not on a Bandai site yet. The Story Boosters guide covers all three.
